Correlation between Fatigue and Ability to Perform Activities of Daily Living in Myasthenia Gravis Patients

BACKGROUND: Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disease of the neuromuscular junction that has autoantibodies can be found in most cases. Fatigue and skeletal muscle weakness are pathognomonic symptoms MG severely disabling, interfering with a patient’s ability to pursue activities daily living, limiting their work, family, social lives. AIM: This study aimed analyze correlation between fatigue perform activity living (ADL) among patients MG. METHOD: severity scale (FSS) was used measure MG-ADL evaluate ADL. Rank-Spearman test assess activities. RESULTS: Thirty-one (nine males 22 females) were included classified into three subgroups fatigue: Non-fatigue (FSS <4), borderline (4 < FSS 5), >5).
